We learn

Create more learning opportunities to develop 21st century skills and become lifelong learners.

We create

The WeDo Construction Set enables us to build and program simple LEGO models that are plugged into a computer.

We grow up

It reinforces skills like designing and making; brainstorming to find creative alternative solutions; and learning to communicate, share ideas and work together.

Our Misson in this season

Weclome to Ottawa FLL Jr. Expo in the  2019/2020 FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. season.

Welcome to Boomtown! Come join our team! Teams will explore the growing needs and challenges of the people in our community. Teams will help to imagine and create a building that solves a problem and makes life easier, happier, or more connected for the people that use it. Use your imagination and LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 to design and program your Boomtown Build. Keep track of what you learn in your Engineering Notebook, and tell about it in a Show Me poster.

BOOMTOWN BUILDSM Challenge now available.

What do you need to know  about the Moon to live there?

What will you eat and drink?

How will you get energy?

How will you breathe? What  will you do for fun?

What other problems will you have to solve?

Create and Test!

Design and build a Moon Base. Use the LEGO® rocket ship and other elements from the Inspire Set to help you.  Also be sure to use LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 to build and program at least one motorized part of your Moon Base.

Make a Show Me poster. Participate in an Expo, invite your family and friends to a special team meeting to show what you know about living on the Moon!
